Poland is fast emerging as the destination for tourists for its scenic beauty, ancient architecture and traditional culture. › Old Time Square: Old Time Square is the major highlight when touring KarKow city. It is the one of the largest and beautiful historic square in Europe. It’s one of the reasons why Karkow has become a famous poland tourist attraction. It was built in 1257, measuring 200 by 200 meters, vast and spectacularly built. It is surrounded by historical buildings, churches, cafes and shops. The sights around the Square are worth visiting.

› The Royal Home: The Royal Home is located in the city center of Wawel Hill. It is a witness to polish history as it was the seat of power in the 11th century till Warsaw became the capital of Poland. It houses a collection of Renaissance furniture, paintings and jewelry to admire for the visitors. There is armoury with treasury inside the castle as well as other exhibitions in the surrounding chapels to viw.

› Grey House: The Grey House was built between the13th and 14th century. It’s the oldest burgher’s house in town. Its interior is splendid with Gothic vaults and Renaissance ceilings. It was the seat of the short-lived provisional government during the Krakow Uprising of 1846. Unfortunately, it is closed to the public.

› Barbakan: It was in 1300s and located just outside the Old town Walls at the bottom of Ulica Florianska is a beautiful relic of old Europe. The walls of this structure are a massive 3 meters thick and Barbakan was never captured in battle. It is surrounded by a park area and it is architecturally fascinating, and massively impressive.

› Bochnia salt mine: Bochnia salt mines are the oldest mine in Europe which is located around 20 km from Krakow. It has an underground sanatorium with its unique microclimate. There are 140 beds available in the co-ed, underground dorm. Good health is guaranteed for years after spending a few days in the mine. You can even play billiards or even visit the chapel sculpted in salt.
